Welcome to the site SpeedRdrs.com.

My name is Jeremy and I am passionate about speed reading and helping everyone achieve a faster reading speed.

Speed reading by definition means “to read rapidly by assimilating several phrases or sentences at once.”

If you’ve ever started reading a book only to come back to it 6 months later and only made it 20 pages into it, you realize how much time reading may take.

What is the purpose of this site?

I always enjoyed reading but I had a problem of taking forever to read and eventually getting tired and never finishing a book.

This happened for years and years until a high school teacher of mine taught us briefly about speed reading and how much faster you can learn and enjoy a book just by practicing certain techniques.

I admit I didn’t apply this principle for a long time and eventually had so many books with bookmarks in them that never went past the first 30% of the book, I decided to start practicing.

This website is a way for me to share with everyone the benefits of speed reading, how to apply it to your every day lives, and what books I’ve enjoyed reading.

What should we expect to see on the site?

This website is a work in progress and I will be adding articles and recommendations as we go along.

The site will be broken down into two main sections:

Speed Reading

This section will have everything related to speed reading; from how-to read faster to apps I recommend trying.

Book Lists

Our book lists will include various topics and I will be digging deep to find quality books to recommend.

I am a huge proponent of free information so any books that I legally find for free I will share with you.

The topics are unlimited and I hope to find some unique and interesting books for us to read.

I will have a short review of the book along with where I bought or found mine.
